Ron Bell: Managing Partner, Finance & Accounting Practice

Ron has 20 plus years of progressive business and education experience including 13 plus years in the finance and accounting staffing and executive search industry. Prior to joining PROVEN, Ron led and managed the top performing San Diego F&A Search team of a roughly $1 billion national staffing firm. In addition to leading his team, Ron also achieved nationwide top 5% individual performance levels as an individual producer for the last several consecutive years.

Prior to his career in staffing and executive search, Ron worked in audit at Coopers & Lybrand, in Real Estate Finance at Wells Fargo, and in Education for San Diego City Schools. Ron has an MBA from the Anderson school at UCLA, an undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara, and attended SDSU to earn his teaching credential. He also currently teaches Accounting at UCSD Extension. Ron leads the Finance and Accounting practice at PROVEN.

Doug Roper: Managing Partner, Enhanced Recruiting Solutions

Doug Roper has over 11 years of industry experience in both individual contributor and leadership roles. Before joining PROVEN in 2010, Doug was a Business Development Manager for one of the leading RPO providers in the country. He was responsible for developing and managing significant RPO engagements with Fortune 1000 companies across multiple industries. Prior to his experience at Beeline RPO, Doug was the Manager of Recruiting for America Online, Inc., where he oversaw a 20 person, multi-state recruiting team. Doug does not believe in a "one-size-fits-all" methodology, therefore, he utilizes a more collaborative, consultative problem-solving approach with his clients, to a high-degree of loyalty and retention. Doug received his Bachelor of Arts from Lynchburg College. He lives in Broadlands, Virginia with his wife Heather and two children.

Dat Nguyen: Managing Partner, Enhanced Recruiting Solutions

Dat Nguyen has over 11 years of staffing industry experience and 2 years as a technical analyst prior. For the last 3 years, he has been managing a team of recruiters for a Fortune 500 Government IT Integration/Managed Services firm based in Dulles, VA. Prior to his corporate recruiting management role, Dat was a Market Manager and top individual contributor recruiter at a national staffing firm covering the DC Metro area. He has a background in Business Process Re-Engineering, project management and application/software training which gives him a deep understanding of technical skills and capabilities. Dat holds bachelor degrees in Economics and Psychology from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and currently resides in Reston, VA.

Meredith Dow: Managing Partner, Life Sciences Practice

Meredith has 13 years experience in life sciences staffing industry and previous to joining PROVEN, opened and managed the Scientific branch for a $1 billion staffing company. She developed the San Diego branch into the company’s most successful Scientific branch for 8 of the 9 years that she was with the company. In her first year, she was recognized as Rookie of the Year and achieved Platinum performance (their top honor) for the other 8. She holds a BS degree in Zoology with an emphasis in Animal Behavior from the University of California, Davis. She has over 4 years hands-on experience in the Biotechnology industry, specifically in Immunoassay development. She is an active member of American Chemical Society's Small Business Advisory Board, sitson the Southern California Biotechnology Council (SCBS's) Advisory Committee and the Mesa College, Chemistry Technician Program Advisory Committee, and served on the Board of Directors for the San Diego branch of AALAS for 10 years. She actively attends the Women in Bioscience, San Diego ACS, BIOCOM, San Diego Biotechnology Network and CleanTech networking events. Marilyn Kaforey: Founding & Managing Partner, Finance & Accounting Practice

Marilyn is a founding member of PROVEN, with a combination of 17 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Financial Services and Operations recruiting. Prior to joining PROVEN, Marilyn hired, developed and managed an award winning team for a national consulting company focusing on both direct hire and temporary staffing solutions. Marilyn is heavily involved in a number of community projects including serving as the Vice President of Crossroads, a local woman's recovery home and actively supports the National MS Society with various events and fundraising efforts.

Kathryn Hammelman: Partner, Life Sciences Practice

Kathryn has 6 years of professional recruiting experience. She is currently dedicated to Life Sciences recruitment within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and clinical industries. She provides a consultative and direct approach to her candidates in order to create positive career strategies and results. Prior to joining PROVEN she led a nationwide college recruiting program at a San Diego based internet technology firm. She was the top performing IT recruiter, specializing in placement of C#, .NET, AJAX developers throughout the campaign. Before San Diego, Kathryn gained international experience in Seoul, Korea for Chungdahm Institute, where she provided internal staffing as the company rapidly added 60 new franchises within a year. Marlene Garcia: Senior Partner, Technology Practice

Marlene Garcia is a 20+ year veteran of the information technology industry. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a B.S. degree in mathematics and computer science, she launched her career as a software developer/systems analyst for National City Bank of Cleveland and Ernst & Whinney. Her interest in technology coupled with her strong commitment to customer service lead to a career in IT professional services with Computer Task Group. Subsequently, she became a Systems Engineering Manager for Sun Microsystems and most recently, she directed the San Diego technology consulting practice of a $1B professional services company, doubling revenues and gross profits. She joined PROVEN 2 years ago to spearhead the development of the Technology Practice. Marlene is an active member of the NDIA, AFCEA, Athena, HBS, ACT-IAC, and San Diego Supplier Development Council. She serves as the Team Manager for the GU18 FC Bratz Soccer Club.

Jason started his career with a national firm in Milwaukee, WI and achieved a number of early promotions due to superior customer service in start up markets. Jaime Onofre: Partner, Technology Practice

Jaime has 5 years of professional experience in recruiting and sales. Emily Rockwell: Partner, Accounting & Operations Support Practice

Emily has 8 years experience in business development and recruitment related roles that includes 3 years within Finance and Accounting recruitment at an international staffing firm with revenues exceeding a Billion dollars. Emily has established lasting relationships with individuals across multiple industries including biotech and life sciences, technology, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, financial services and other service industries. Jeff has over 10 years of professional experience in an array of industries including finance, technology, sales, and recruiting. Pat has over 20 years of administrative experience working in the electronic and recruiting fields. She has held positions from receptionist to office manager and has managed 5 employees. He ran his own recruiting business in London between 1988 and 1996 and prior to founding PROVEN, Ingram was a Group President of one of the largest professional staffing companies in the world.
